On US1, Mile Marker 87 Bayside, Islamorada [MAP]
This one-acre dog park offers poop bags, water bowls, a small kiddie pool, benches, chairs, and picnic tables. Toys and tennis balls can also be found scattered throughout the park. There is a $4 parking fee when an attendant is on duty (no set time), or you can avoid the fee by parking along the edge of the park and walking in.

In Higgs Beach Park, ~1000 Atlantic Blvd., Key West [MAP]
This large fenced-in dog park has separate sections for large and small dogs. Features include a double-gated entry, fresh drinking water, waste cleanup stations, and an abundance of well-worn, donated toys. There is free parking across the street at Higgs Beach as well as behind the park (near the cell tower). For more information visit the park's Web site. |
